"WELCOME TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD!"
This Sabbath, January 21, the United Church is sponsoring Kingdom of God Bible Seminars in many cities across the United States and around the world. These seminars focus on the central message of the Bible, the same message Jesus came preaching, the gospel of t he Kingdom of God (Mark:1:14-14[14]Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,). This second round of the seminars vividly points out that the "time is fulfilled" and the Kingdom of God is "at hand." For those God is calling, now is the time to take action - now is the time to repent!
An invitation to glory: The purpose for human life is to enter the Kingdom of God, meaning sonship in the eternal family of God. The conditions for entering are repentance, baptism, receiving the Holy Spirit, and a lifetime of growing and overcoming. For those who successfully complete the program, it will be said to them, "Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world" (Matt:25:34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:). In other words, "WELCOME to the Kingdom of God!"
